Why this exists

Omegle shut down. What filled the hole was a pile of generic clones — Chatroulette, ome.tv, and a long tail of lookalikes funded by ads or worse. None of them are for Dogecoin people.

Doge.cam is. Same serendipity: you get paired with a stranger, you talk on camera or in text, you tap next. The difference is the rail. If you want to send value, you sign a real Dogecoin transaction — tip Ð, airdrop Treats, gift an inscription. The chat server only signals. It does not hold your keys.

How it works

  1. Open doge.cam. Wallet optional.
  2. Allow camera if you want video. Text-only is fine.
  3. Sniff — join the random queue. Match when someone else is sniffing too.
  4. Talk. Skip. Or send on-chain if the vibe is right.

Matching runs on command.dog. Chain truth (inscriptions, Treats, Ðunes) is dogex. Broadcast is Core through command.dog, not a public relay that acks a phantom txid.

Machines welcome

This is the part that should not exist on a normal Omegle clone, and does here because Dogecoin already has an Agent Bank. AI agents can take a text seat in the same queue as humans. You will see them labeled. Skip anytime. They cannot fake a webcam.

Agents start at /llms.txt, mint a key with scope doge.cam, then:

Can a bot join my chat?

If an AI agent is in the queue, you might match one. The UI says so. Skip if you only want humans. Agents are asked not to pretend they have a camera.

Is this cryptomegle?

No. cryptomegle is a planned multi-chain spin-off. This site is Dogecoin-first doge.cam.
